Last weekend AnakJajan visited this newly opened restaurant/cakeshop called Hans & Belle at Puri Indah Mall. Located on the second floor, Hans and Belle decorate their shop with lot’s of teddy bears with train inspired interior complete with railway line, wooden train filled with teddy bears, and train seats.
Food and beverage at Hans & Belle are reasonably quite affordable, IDR 10k – IDR 35k for the beverages available Coffee, Tea, Juices, Italian Soda, Mojito, Chocolate, etc and IDR 17k – IDR 45k for the food: whole cake, cookies, mini cakes, appetizer (chicken wings, freis, onion rings), salad, soup, pasta, rice dish (butter rice, oxtail soup, katsu rice), fish n chips, burger, sandwich.
AnakJajan only order the cakes because we have want to have a lunch at Mazeltov another newly opened restaurant Puri Mall Indah extension area (click here for MazelTov review).
Capuccino IDR 26k
18+ IDR 35k
Looks so simple but this it’s my favorite of the day. 18+ actually is a Vodka Mousse Cake.
Silky smooth airy cake with a bit of vodka taste, if only the vodka taste stronger it will be perfect.
Lemon Drop IDR 22k
Lemon mousse with sponge cake inside and a bit of jam. Taste pretty decent with lemon extract flavor.
Night Owl IDR 22k
Consist of layers of soft spongy oreo flavored cakes with cream and covered with oreo crumble. The cake was moist and soft.
Cakes at Hans & Belle surprisingly taste quite good, even though it doesn’t make me scream WOW, but the cakes tasted freshly made with a great texture, flavor and also the right amount of sweetness, not to mention the affordable price.
I have heard from several sources that the interior concept of this place looks kinda similar with a famous cake shop at Bangkok Thailand called Mr. Jones’s Orphanage. AnakJajan have never visited Mr. Jones’s Orphanage yet so we don’t know how similar it is. But on the other hand, this place is really lovely and sweet I found myself not wanting to leave. Let’s Jajan!!
